"Change is the law of life and those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future." John F Kennedy
As a school we have an enviable reputation for the quality and breadth of the education we offer our boys. Tonbridge is a forward looking school and we need to reflect the world outside our school gates if we are to prepare our boys for it.
We have a clear long-term strategy which sets out our vision and aims for the future. The Excellence for All Campaign plays an important role in enabling us to deliver our plans in three areas:
- Making sure that we continue to maintain a world class educational establishment
- Widening access to the school through our Foundation Award programme and supporting outreach initiatives with the local community
- Providing opportunities to encourage innovation and provide breadth and depth across the school
It’s a long-term plan and we expect it to evolve as we see new opportunities. At its heart is our commitment to excellence for our boys and the wider community to which they belong.
To help us deliver on our ambition we are launching a new vision for the development of the school that will see Tonbridge take on its biggest development phase since the 19th Century that will deliver a school thoroughly equipped for the century ahead.
Will you join us?
We hope you’ll want to join us as we pursue our new vision for the development of the school.
Our plans for the future are ambitious and wide-ranging. We have small projects and large ones. Some are under way already; some are years away, and some we haven’t even thought of yet. None of this can be achieved without the support of parents, past parents and Old Tonbridgians. We hope every member of our school community will want to be involved.
If you want to find out how you can be involved please phone Andy Whittall, Director of the Tonbridge Society, on 01732 304253 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
